Cookies and browser storage used for session security, language preference and self-assessment drafts.
This information reflects the current application code. The live inventory will be checked before launch because the domain and deployment providers are not yet confirmed. This text does not authorise new trackers or optional purposes.
Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small records that a browser can send with requests to a site. sessionStorage holds temporary application data for a browser tab. They are different technologies; the purposes of both are explained here.
The current source contains no advertising or third-party analytics tracker. Cookies support sign-in security and language preference; tab storage supports self-assessment drafts and a language-switch announcement.
Current technical inventory
The names below reflect the current configuration. Authentication cookies may have a browser security prefix on a secure connection. The server may end a session earlier for security reasons.
| Record | Purpose | Duration / removal |
|---|---|---|
| startt.session_token | Verifies the signed-in session for protected access. | Default session lifetime is 7 days and may renew with session use. The relevant session token is removed on sign-out. |
| startt.two_factor | Associates an in-progress administrator two-factor challenge. | Up to 10 minutes; it may be removed earlier by the verification flow. |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the Turkish/English language preference. | Browser session under the current configuration. |
| startt:assessment:draft (sessionStorage) | Keeps unfinished self-assessment answers in the relevant tab. | Cleared after successful submission or replaced by a new draft; normally ends with the tab session. |
| startt.locale-fallback-announcement (sessionStorage) | Delivers a one-time accessible announcement during language switching. | Removed when the announcement is read; otherwise lasts for the tab session. |
Choices and controls
You can delete or block site cookies and storage in your browser. Blocking session cookies can prevent protected sign-in; clearing tab storage can discard an unsubmitted self-assessment draft. Browser settings, the operating system and session restoration can affect the actual lifetime.
Adding analytics, advertising or another optional storage purpose would require separate information and, where necessary, a prior choice/consent mechanism. Acceptance of the current Terms does not approve future optional tracking.
