The STAR-T Learning Hub is the digital learning area of the STAR-T Alliance Platform. It is designed to make sustainable tourism knowledge and project training resources accessible to tourism operators and chamber staff in a flexible online environment.
The Learning Hub brings together self-paced learning content, training videos and downloadable materials developed through STAR-T activities. Registered users will also be able to follow their learning progress through the platform. In this way, the knowledge created during the project can remain accessible beyond individual training events and support continuous capacity building across Tekirdağ, Malatya and Basilicata.
The Self-Learning Online Training Pack provides tourism operators and chamber staff with a flexible way to improve their knowledge of sustainable tourism at their own pace. The online pack is intended to transform project training content into an accessible digital learning resource that users can consult according to their own schedules and needs.
The learning content will support practical understanding of sustainable tourism and related business practices. The online structure will also be connected with the project’s self-assessment functionality, allowing users to combine learning with an evaluation of their own sustainability performance.
Key features and outputs:
The Training Videos section will provide users with video-based learning materials generated through STAR-T training activities. Video content from the Training for Tourism Enterprises and the Training for Chambers’ Staff can be transferred to the online learning environment so that participants and other eligible users can revisit the knowledge shared during the sessions.
The videos will support continuous learning and help the project reach users who may not have participated in every live or face-to-face training activity. They will also strengthen the long-term accessibility of the project’s capacity-building outputs.
Key features and outputs:
The Training Materials section will serve as a practical library for learning resources produced or used within STAR-T training activities. Users will be able to access supporting documents alongside the video and self-learning content, helping them review key concepts and apply the knowledge in their organisations and businesses.
The technical structure of the platform allows training-related PDFs and other documents to be uploaded and made available to users. Materials can include training presentations, learning documents, practical guides and other supporting resources prepared within the project.
Key features and outputs:
My Learning Progress is the personalised area where registered users can follow their participation in the Learning Hub. The platform’s user-progress tracking functionality will help users understand how far they have progressed through the available learning content and return to their learning activities when needed.
This feature also supports project monitoring by providing a structured way to follow use of the online learning resources. Together with platform analytics, learning-progress information can help the project partners understand user engagement and identify areas where additional support or content may be useful.
Key features and outputs:
The STAR-T Learning Hub is designed not simply as a document archive, but as an active learning environment. By combining digital training content, videos, supporting materials, self-assessment and progress tracking, the platform will help tourism businesses and chamber staff continue learning and applying sustainable practices throughout and beyond the project period.
Capacity building is a central component of STAR-T. The project provides training for tourism enterprises and Chamber staff so that both businesses and business-support organisations can better understand sustainability principles and apply them in practice.
Training for tourism enterprises focuses on sustainable tourism practices, resource efficiency and responsible business approaches. Training for Chamber staff combines sustainability knowledge with mentorship skills so that trained staff can guide member businesses more effectively.
Key project outputs:
Sustainable tourism fundamentals, environmental and resource management, and local cooperation and supply-chain practices.
